Yes. The only fee to be paid is the registration to the selection process. There is the possibility of exemption from this fee as published in the selection notices.
Yes. There are scholarships from student development agencies. However, the number of scholarships is limited, not covering all the students enrolled. The scholarship committee allocates the quotas by merit, based on curriculum analysis.
The PPLET–UFU Master's Program is destined to former long-term undergraduate students (full degree) recognized by the Brazilian Ministry of Education (MEC) as well as undergraduate courses of related areas. The following categories are not allowed to apply: Former students from short-term courses, sequential courses, free courses, and alike.
The applicants for the Master and Doctorate programs must undergo a universal and public selective exam, following an Announcement and pertinent rules.

Yes, foreign language proficiency is required for Master's Degree and Doctorate, and the terms of certificate presentation are conducted by the Regulation of PPLET. For Master's Degree, proficiency in one language is required, for Doctorate, two languages. The certificate does not need to be necessarily handed in with inscription or registration.
Admission processes usually take place at the end of the second semester of each year, or at the beginning of the following semester. Enrolment is open after the final results of the admission process are released. Those intending to apply must always attend to Selection Public Notices of the PPLET-UFU, for more detailed information.
